Native Man to the Sky Speaks
I am the native of this land
Given to my forefathers by the Gods of old
we then did know: The Wind, Mountain Spirit and the Sun
Which were the God I came to know when told
By the White Man who stole my land
But that was then in those days…
God being in my spirit gave me forgiveness
We lived then by different ways
For we often done to other tribes the same
It was the way of progress of man
Need and greed and power and hate
Is the works of Satan since time began…

Today we ask the White Man and our Shared God
Who looks on us both as the same
To give to us our native land
Give us our pride and take our shame
And put to right the wrongs of old
When the Whitemans forefathers came…
