From Mars Far Far Away

From Mars, far far away
A spaceship sent pictures today
Of a distant planet in outerspace
That could be a desert, or any place
It seemed so odd, looked so queer
It could as well be a quarry here
The look for life, and finding none
For signs of water to look have begun

Some folk, disappointed question the point
To waste time and money going to that joint
As they cannot bring to mind
What of worth up there they will ever find
But as with the moon much near to us
It found a land with no hate or fuss
All around the galaxy each place we can
Find peaceful worlds unpolluted by the greed of man

Have your say...
