Fall not for her, though fair be her charms
It will bring you death, say the Pavee
Should you take her in your arms…
Fair she is – a maiden fine

To Tír na nÓg she’ll take you man

What We See, We Are
We don’t see things the way they are. We see them the way WE are - Talmud.
We see, we think, the way it is
Situation difficult, destination far
What we see is not what it is
But a reflection on what we are
If fit, if up to the challenge presented
For a long wak with happy heart we set
And trudge the long miles after each other contented
Looki [...]
Less Is More
More or less, less is more
Less shown, the unknown
Imagined excites, invites investigation
Honey to a fly, man is caught before
He realises he has known
The perils of the seas of copulation.
Another girl, jewels on display
For lasting love, waits another day.

The Ladys Many Charms – I ~ Lip...
Lipstick, warpaint of the War of Love -
Red as the blood it aims to spill
If only metaphorically speaking
Red as the blood it aims to thrill
Or palest hues, sublime desires
Aims to make mankind think
- Or womankind of that persuasion!!! -
Of what lies beyond the pink…
A nights passion, together enjoyed…
A morning spent in each oth [...]
No Christ Was He – The Errors o...
No Christ was he, or even close
But that was not his claim, no he
Just carried the same message to man
Distilled as he saw life to be
The wrongs of churches of his time
Of Orthodox, and his own faith, seen in youth
Led him to believe if evil lives in the cloth
There is no God, was the obvious truth.
But the holy water on aristocrats conscienc [...]
Dark Brown Turf
By hand it was cut, the dark brown turf
Donkey and ass dew it by cart home
Hands hard from work tossed it to the fire
Neath hair that rare e’re saw a comb
Then by machine it was cut, dark turf
Tractor now drew it home to the shed
Soft hands, from little work, into the range
Tossed it, neath styled combed hair now instead.
Now, by decree [...]
Loudest Voices Cover Up Much
We must pay for everything
From our homes, to our loaf of bread
Some folk pay for somethings
And that they are great it is said
Some folk pay for nothing
And because of that the who pay for little cry
And we join in its good craic and correct
Are our reasons why.
Some of them wear pink shirts
Pink socialists to the bone
Some of them drive cem [...]

What the Moon Sees from Behind Clouds
Slurring his words, he speaks to others
Who let on to listen, to be polite
But wish he was anywhere bar here
Resent his ruining of their night…
Grimaces hidden by forced smiles
He sings a song, cant hold a tune
Outside, a dog howls, another cries
Every night witnessed by the cloud hidden moon
