The Atheist and the Thief
I
Two men in life once came to grief,
One was an atheist, the other, a thief,
They shared a cell for a time brief,
And discussed their views on life.
As they passed the time along,
They discussed right and debated wrong,
An occasionally burst into song,
Lamenting the world and its strife.

For to achieve perfection is to say you are better than all others
God made man with qualities of both bad and good inside
No one, though he may think himself to be, is any better than another
Some seek perfection in faith, declare here other beliefs

As Pilgrims
As pilgrims in life we walk alone
Sins committing for which we later atone
Some we confess, other up to which we dont own
But confess to our God without speaking.
As pilgrims we move in life together
Storms we cause, and storms caused by others we weather
For life is a wind, and man but a feather
That a place of peace on the ground is seeking [...]
As Time Passes By
As time passes me by I wonder why
The world is always changing
No pattern seems to stay the same…
Forever rearranging…
Is all this change for the good?
The answer we don’t know.
