“Keep your mind on the money, keep your eyes on the wall” – Tina Turner
“In Japan, dance is an art form. In Ireland, all the men want to do is talk” – Mirjana Rendulic http://mirjana-rendulic.webs.com/
She dances, dreams behind the eyes and the false smiles,
Chasing Mammon, just passing through to a promised land,
False promises offered to empty hearted men,
With full wallets and little to do at hand,
A dreamer living a nightmare to fulfill a dream
Mammons promises being false in time she would understand.
Along the way, behind the glitz, the clothes the smiles,
Eyes as if they followed her, called her home,
False friends, dodgy businessmen, a broken dream,
Until one lonely man offered her a home,
But the price it was to be her freedom, her very soul,
Dreams being false, they were abandoned, she returned home.
