Memorial dedication to John Keegan ‘Leo’ Casey (1846 – 17 March 1870), known as the Poet of the Fenians
Cá bhfuileadar anois, mic na hÉireann?
’s siad marbh, ina gcoladh innú i dteach Dé,
Ach éireoidh siad san am atá le teacht,
I mbaile na hAingil ag tús an lae.

Ná bíodh brón oraibh ar a son,
Ní shé an bás atá úfásach,
Is maith an rud é toisc go bhfuil sé fíor,
go n-éireoidh siad ar thaobh Dé amárach.

Have your say...
