War Poetry

So many Irish died around the world in wars, from the Wild Geese to the ranks of the allies -and the few who faught for the axis - in both world wars, and the countless of the Irish diaspora who bear arms today in conflicts around the globe.

This 11/11/11 we remeber those, on all sides.

War Poetry

So many Irish died in wars throughout the world, in particular WWI and WWII.
The latter is especially tragic as those who died in British forces were held as a source of shame as much as pride and often their storys covered up and forgotton.
These poems aim to give a voice to the forgotton.
