To Eat Without Saying Grace

"Gosh, could a cautios Covenantor
Wait for the Grace?
- "To The Potatoe" by James Orr
If such a man took his place
With hungry stomach and smiling face
Looked on potatoes with milk to chase
Even though he should
God would forgive him for skipping grace
Oh, yeah, he would!
For when he has tucked away
His dinner - then he can pray
And give thanks throughout the day
For by seating
No grace does man need to say
He gives praise by merely eating!
