Where The Powers At

This street is where the powers at
And I must confess
No fan am I of either faction
That got us into this mess...

Flanked either side by a museum
I laugh silently, wryly at the sight
For their attitudes towards the working classes
Are centuries old all right...

We pick not the best we can find
Nor do we pick those we can see, the first
We know well that they all are bad
And we try not to pick the worst!.
