This Is Not Malta As Desired

This is not Malta as desired
The Meditteranian I do not see
But ducks on a pond at Stephens Green
And yet, it seems great to be
Where the sun is softly shining
And a soft caressing wind does blow
And where to get my breakfast
Is the only care I know.

In Malta I will be another time
Enjoy its sun another day
Today Im content to have time spent
Watching dogs bark, fight and play.
If theis is the consequences of Recession
With work worries cast away and gone
And we only have what we need to live
I say: "No problem: bring it on!"
