Words Written While Waiting at Dublin Airport

Minutes are passing slowly
As I wait until five
For the check in desk to open
For my plane to arrive
And passing time some lines Im writing
Though no masterpiece they may be
They will tell a little of this world
As through my eyes it I see.
And on the internet I am typing
Words come up upon the screen
Typed in by my dancing fingers
Telling where my thoughs have been.
And the numbers turn to zero
Having been at fifty nine
And as I write in a hurry
I create another line.
Ah... to be a writer
Means thet when you’ve hours to kill
Life will never be boring
Once you’ve got a page to fill
Its far better than meditation
To write a verse or two
When you are bored in an airport...
Why dont you try it too??!!!
